Nancy Michiels

Nancy is a Belgian artist. She mainly creates dreamy watercolor landscapes in which the vieuwer often sees an emotion or a purpose. Her paintings are abstract with some figurative elements in it. Her palette is limited, she often only uses 2 or 3 colors. She loves watercolor because it's such a free medium. The free running of the paint makes the painings fresh and surprisingly clear.

In the 1990's Nancy studied drawning and painting in the art academie in Aarschot. This was the base for her further develepmont in her work.
